Hayward Pool Products is part of Hayward Industries, Inc. Their signature heaters for above ground pools are the Hayward pool heater H-Series gas models. They are induced draft systems and provide for quick heating of the pool water at an 81 percent thermal efficiency. They are available for both natural gas and propane as their fuel source and are currently rated from 100,000 to 400,000 BTU/Hr heat input.
However, Hayward also manufactures their HeatPro heat pumps that are becoming increasingly poplular with consumers due to their lower energy costs. They are currently available in three sizes; 80,000, 112,000 and 125,000 BTU and used the better scroll compressor.
